The new Arai CK-6 Junior Kart Helmet. Mandatory for all under 15's in CIK FIA from January 2010 and currently being evaluated by the MSA for Cadet use from 2011.

Helmet Size

How to measure your head to get the correct helmet size.

Using a tape measure or a piece of string, measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears. Taking the measurements obtained in centimetres. This will give you your nominal helmet size. You may wish to buy a slightly larger or smaller size depending on your personal preference e.g. if you prefer a tighter fit, buy one size smaller. Helmet linings do compress, so if your helmet is slightly tight to start with, this is quite normal.

If possible, try on a helmet of the same make and model that you require, as size does vary between different helmet manufacturers.
